Now that the 2008 season is fast approaching the Western Springs Premier Women’s Team is looking for a sponsor. Our ties with previous sponsor Manson TCLM Ltd have ended after 2 very successful years. This represents a great opportunity for a company to put their name to the team and help keep soccer as the major sport in our area.

The team is currently National Champions after the 2007 final victory over Glenfield Rovers and hosts 3 current NZ Internationals, 7 U20 Internationals and 8 U17 Internationals.

Sponsorship of the team would include the company name on the home and away playing strips, website exposure plus many more benefits.

Mens Under 19s Training

Training is 10am on Saturday or Sunday mornings Seddon Fields. This includes Saturday 16th for those not taking part in the John Verkley memorial tournament.

If you know anyone else who might be interested in playing for Western Springs U19 this year please invite them to the practice. This year the club will be very focused on the U19 team. For example, this team will go to the Napier Tournament. Alessandro Fantoni (aka Alex) is one of the club’s top coaches and has a real passion for the game. So if you know anyone that is real good at football that wants to play in an exciting team please invite them to participate in this pre-season training.
