Priscilla Duncan

Squad Number: 8
Priscilla Duncan has an impressive footballing CV. 'Cill' completed her university scholarship at South West Baptist in the USA, before playing with the Chicago Fire and Sonderjske in Denmark. In 2007 Cill was part of the New Zealand team that travelled to China for the Women's World Cup, she appeared in all 3 of the kiwi's group games against Brazil, Denmark & China.
Abby Erceg
Position: Centre Back
Age: 18
Squad Number: 12
Abby Erceg has built up a wealth of footballing experience for a 17 year old. She was a star of the U20 World Cup in Russia, scoring for the kiwi's against the hosts and being awarded the player of the match award in the 0-0 draw with Brazil. She also played full games in all three of NZ's games at the Women's World Cup in China in September 2007.
Renee Leota
Position: Striker
Age: 17
Squad Number: 7
Renee Leota is fast becoming one of the most promising strikers in New Zealand and was part of the NZU20s squad who held Brazil to a 0-0 draw at the U20 World Cup in Russia. She was recently named in the Football Ferns squad for the tour to Australia and scored the opening goal against PNG to secure New Zealand's sport at the Beijing Olympic Games.

Claudia Crasborn
Position: Full Back/Wide Midfield
Age: 16
Squad Number: 2
Claudia is another of Springs new signings looking at make an impact at Seddon Fields, her pure athleticism and speed make her a tough prospect coupled with height and a natural willingness to attack Claudia always looks a handful. She has three caps to her name all at left back for the national team appearing against Korea Rep, Germany & Australia.
Briony Fisher
Position: Centre Back
Age: 16
Squad Number: 15
Briony is a no nonsense centre back who prides herself on passion and determination when she plays. Known to most as 'Brie' she has now commanded a spot in the back four of the young football ferns team and was named as captain for the recent Future Stars Tournament in Auckland. Briony moves into her second season with the club, watch this space...
Danielle McFadyen
Position: Goalkeeper
Age: 16
Squad Number: 20
Danielle has been a fixture in the young football ferns squad since it's inception back in April 2007, since then Danielle has made real progress in her game making her Auckland No1 GK at the National Tournament in December 2007. Making her debut for NZ at the end of last year against Korea Republic 'Danni' is pushing for more experiences at the top level.
Nadia Pearl
Position: Centre Midfield
Age: 15
Squad Number: 13
Nadia or 'Nads' is your typical reliable centre midfielder who always does a great job for the team, her International pedigree was seen after a superb man-marking job on Korean captain K.Lie and has since gone on to appear in each of the football ferns matches, quiety un-assuming but extremly effective you won't see her surrender possession easily.
Jessica Rollings
Position: Wide Midfield
Age: 17
Squad Number: 17
Jessica more commonly known as 'Rolly' is a livewire winger with pace to burn, her athleticism makes her a handful to deal with and a threat against any team. Rolly now has six caps to her name for the young football ferns team having made an appearance in every match of the world cup campaign so far. Jessica is now entering her second season with the club.
Hannah Wall
Position: Wide Midfield/Forward
Age: 16
Squad Number: 19
Hannah is an eye catching attack minded player who is used in a variety of positions for club and country. Her ability to play of either foot, pace and athleticism make her versatility a real asset. She has captained the young ferns in the build up to the world cup leading by example through her performances. Watch out for one of Springs new signings.
Rosie White
Position: Centre Midfield/Forward
Age: 14
Squad Number: 11
Rosie White is one of the countries brightest talents, at 14 she is the youngest member of the football ferns squad but has started in five of the six games so far this campaign and even captained the side while on tour in Australia. Known to most as 'Bambi' she shows natural energy when playing and her ability on the ball is clear for all to see, a very bright prospect for the future..
Paul Temple
Position: Head Coach
Paul is a promising young coach with a real eye for potential and detail, he holds the International Team Coaching License and UEFA B Coaching Awards. Paul has been working with the Western Springs Team for the previous two years and continually gives opportunities to the younger players. In the past two seasons Springs have had 23 New Zealand reps, 17 of those at age group level. He is also Head Coach of the Young Football Ferns and NZ Secondary Schoolgirls Teams.
