From October 28th till November 16th 2008 New Zealand will host the first ever U17 Women's World Cup. Games will take place in four venues across Aotearoa. Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington & Christchurch will host the groups for the tournament with the New Zealand Team playing their first two games in Auckland and final group match in Wellington.

Western Springs have a strong connection with the New Zealand U17 Team. Springs Premier Women's Coach Paul Temple is also the Head Coach of the New Zealand Team and 8 members of our Premier Squad have represented the Young Football Ferns this year.
